Teenagers (age 12+)
Being a teen is hard, there’s no way around it. Amidst the whirlwind of hormonal changes, academic pressures, and social dynamics, you may be feeling overwhelmed, confused, anxious, misunderstood — even angry. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, empowering you to develop coping strategies, build resilience, and enhance your sense of self.
For parents:
It can be painful to watch your child struggle and not know how to help, despite how hard you try. Fortunately, therapy can help. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters a trusting relationship, allowing your child to express themself and process openly. I help to develop healthy relationships, self confidence, self reflection, and resilience.
As your child's therapist, building a foundation of trust with you is important for fostering open communication. At the same time, it's important to respect your child's developmental journey and allow them space to engage in their personal therapy. This helps build trust and a good relationship with me.
